Who am I?

Hi, I’m Hari Kapoor, an Information Technology student at the University of Central Florida, expecting to graduate in Fall 2027. I originally studied Computer Science before switching to IT, and my main interests include cybersecurity, software development, cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and digital assets. I enjoy learning how different technologies work together and using them to solve real world problems.

My interest in technology started through programming and game development. I have experience with Lua and have created games and systems on Roblox, which helped me develop a strong foundation in scripting, debugging, logic, and building interactive applications. I also have experience with Python, C+, C++, JavaScript, and SQL, along with tools such as GitHub, Linux, VS Code, Microsoft Office, and Photoshop.

Outside of school, I have gained hands on business experience through my family’s restaurant, Gateway to India, where I have worked on operations, inventory management, marketing, social media, and improving day to day processes. Working in a fast paced business environment has strengthened my leadership, communication, organization, and problem solving skills.

I also run the Aware brand, where I combine my interests in financial markets, technology, content, and entrepreneurship. I spend time researching stocks, cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence, data centers, cloud computing, and emerging technology companies.

Outside of technology and business, I enjoy music, traveling, boxing, following financial markets, and spending time with my dog Skye and my two bunnies. I am fluent in English and Hindi.

Right now, I am focused on building a stronger IT and cybersecurity portfolio, improving my programming skills, and gaining more hands on experience with networking, cloud computing, security, AI, and digital assets. I am always interested in learning new technologies, working on challenging projects, and connecting with people in technology, finance, and entrepreneurship.
